When governments introduce violence into a market, the market will respond with violence.
When a government restricts the transportation/manufacture/sale of a recreational drug, the market responds with a concentrated version.
Ross was an innovator, governments always try to squash innovation because things that change are hard to control.
Chandler read a poem about city living/country living and Ben asks why libertarians could object to immigration. And then Ben answered: scarcity of land, scarcity of jobs, scarcity of housing, fear of cultural shifts, fear of language shifts, and fear of racial mixing. None of which should be a legitimate libertarian argument.

There’s about 13 million Acres in San Bernardino County California and about 2 million people.
The population of Los Angeles is about 4 million, but the population of California is about 39 million.
