The “broken windows” theory is of interest. The dude who came up with it thinks it needs rethinking.
In terms of criminology, it’s old but Steven Levitt decided in Freakonomics that crime rate reduction coincided with legalizing abortion. It caused a lot of fury and he had to clarify that his study wasn’t a moral statement or political recommendation. Probably too edgy for the Christian element.

Death threats and vandalism after the internet campaign to destroy his career and life, the dentist who paid tons of money to hunt lions needs to hire armed security guards to keep vigilantes at bay.
